Cuba's medical engagement with Kazakhstan never materialized into an active mission; contacts remain limited to diplomatic exploration, beginning with a 2009 meeting between Servicios Médicos Cubanos representatives and Majilis deputies, followed by a 2019 BioCubaFarma-biotechnology cooperation memorandum, with zero personnel deployed to date. No participant statistics exist to assess, since the mission remains inactive—Cuba did not send brigades even during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite a 2021 offer to Eurasian Economic Union states that Kazakhstan apparently declined.
